An applicator is definately not a requirement for using our dissolvables. But this tool is invaluable in certain situations. Eg designed for anyone not able or comfortable using their hands, or for anyone dealing with dryness or inflammation etc.
An applicator tends to feel less invasive and allows the dissolvable to be placed nice and high. This helps the BA to dissolve and also minimises irritation to vulva tissues.
You can also use our V Balm or a lube when using an applicator for easier insertion if you experience dryness.
We also recommend prescription estrogen cream for vaginal atrophy due to low estrogen.
