An applicator is definately not a requirement for using our Dissolvables.
However this tool is invaluable in certain situations. Eg for anyone not able or comfortable using their hands, or for anyone dealing with dryness or inflammation etc.
A quality made applicator tends to feel less invasive and allows the capsule to be placed nice and high. This helps the Boric Acid powder to fully dissolve and also minimises irritation to vulva tissues.
You can also use our V Balm as a lubricant when using an applicator for easier insertion if you experience dryness.
Note- often prescription estrogen cream applied locally is warranted when dealing with vaginal dryness or atrophy. Women can experience declining or fluctuating estrogen levels at any age.
